Your trip
Transit Charters Australia is an independent referral service, not a bus company.
Collection notice
Australian Privacy Principle 5 in the Privacy Act 1988 asks us to tell you a few things when we collect personal information. Please read this before you send the form.
Who we are. Transit Charters Australia, a service operated by Uplinkd Group Pty Ltd. Email hello@transitaustralia.com.au. Our full details are in our privacy policy.
What we collect. What you type into the form: your name, phone and email, the pickup suburb or town and state, where you are going, the date and pickup time, one way or return, the number of passengers, the occasion, how soon you need it, any accessibility needs and anything else you add. We also record when you sent it, the page you sent it from, the city or region your suburb belongs to and that you agreed to it being passed on. All of it comes from you, through the form.
Why. To pass your request to a local charter operator so it can contact you about the trip, and to follow the request up with you. We only send you tips emails if you tick that separate box, and you can unsubscribe whenever you like.
Is it required by law? No. No law requires you to give us this information.
If you leave details out. Without a way to contact you, the pickup, the destination, the date and the number of passengers, we cannot pass the request on.
Who receives it. Normally one local charter operator that works in your city or region, which may pay us for the referral. Our website host and email provider also handle it for us. Nobody else receives it unless the law requires or allows that.
Accessibility needs. This box is optional. Tell us only what the operator needs to plan the vehicle, such as a wheelchair or a mobility aid, not medical details. With your agreement it goes to the operator with the rest of your request.
Overseas. The website and the requests sent through it are stored on servers in the United States (DigitalOcean) and travel through Cloudflare's network. Email is sent through Brevo, which stores data in the European Union.
Access, correction and complaints. Our privacy policy explains how to see or correct what we hold about you, how to complain and how we deal with a complaint.
