Gosford waterfront events

Leagues Club Park on Georgiana Terrace is the waterfront play space and event lawn in the middle of Gosford. The development corporation that built it says the park is within walking distance of Gosford Station, bus stops and public car parks, with some car parking on Baker Street and plenty of on-street parking around the site (Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation). The park hosts New Year's Eve at Gosford, listed for 31 December 2026 from 6pm to 9pm (NSW Government). For a group heading in from Umina Beach, Toukley or The Entrance on a busy night, agree a set-down point near the park and a return time with the operator before the day.

Driver and hours rules on the Coast

To drive a public passenger bus or coach that seats 13 or more people in NSW, the driver needs a bus driver authority from Transport for NSW (Service NSW). Heavy vehicle fatigue law also caps the working day: under the standard hours for a solo driver of a fatigue-regulated bus, the driver can work no more than 12 hours in any 24 hour period and needs 7 continuous hours of stationary rest (National Heavy Vehicle Regulator). That matters for a Central Coast group booking a return trip to a Sydney concert or a long Hunter Valley day, so give your expected finish time and ask the operator how the hours will be covered.

Where Central Coast requests come from

The Central Coast hub takes pickups from Woy Woy and Ettalong Beach in the south through Erina, Kincumber and Bateau Bay to Wyong and Toukley in the north. Send a request for your Central Coast trip with the date, the pickup suburb and how many people are travelling.

Central Coast charter hire: questions

Is the Central Coast separate from Sydney on this site?

Yes. A pickup in Gosford, Wyong or the towns around them belongs with the Central Coast hub. If your group starts in Hornsby or elsewhere in Sydney, pick Sydney from our service areas list.

Can we hire a bus for New Year's Eve at Gosford?

You can ask. The event is listed at Leagues Club Park on 31 December 2026 from 6pm to 9pm, so send your Central Coast request early and include the time you want to leave the waterfront.
