Who books a charter
Bowls and golf clubs, choirs, church and community groups, retirement villages, family reunions, birthday and Christmas parties all hire buses for the same reason: the group arrives together and gets home together. One person sends the request and the operator deals with that person.
Access for everyone
If anyone in the group uses a wheelchair, a walker or a scooter, say so in the accessibility box and say how many. The operator can then suggest a vehicle with a lift or a ramp, or tell you plainly if it has none. Ask about the step height and handrails too if members have trouble with stairs.
Splitting the cost
Clubs often divide the hire between members. Ask for a written quote for the whole trip, with the deposit and the cancellation terms, so the organiser knows what to collect. Then send a request.
Group and Club Travel: questions
Can the bus pick up from several places?
Usually. List the pickup points in the box at the end of the form.
What if numbers change?
Give your best estimate and tell the operator as soon as numbers firm up.
